The Rainbow Occasional Teacher Local represents the occasional teachers working for the Rainbow District School Board. We are here to provide support, professional learning opportunities and information about our Collective Agreement to any occasional teacher employed by the Board.
Our local falls under the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario umbrella of locals that represents 83,000 members across the province, including teachers, occasional teachers, designated early childhood educators, professional support personnel, and educational support personnel.
